The mounting popularity of Galaxy S II has made its successor, Galaxy S III, become one of the most-anticipating smartphones that will be launched next year. After the leak that this new phone will be packed with a quad-core processor, a sample shot that is purportedly taken by the camera of Galaxy S III surfaces for the first time.
Though it is only a 5MP sensor and takes on very ordinary photographing effect, we can still find some valuable info based on the EXIF of the shot, like the 4-mm focus and f2.6 aperture. Most importantly of all, the codename of GT-I9500 is the main reason for people to infer it as a Galaxy S III, according to Sammy’s naming convention. Another big rumor is that this new Galaxy S phone will feature a 3D display. This might be only a rumor since it takes Samsung at least six months to obtain prepare those 3D cameras, but we may expect 3D-enbaled Galaxy S 3D will come as an upgraded version of Galaxy S III.
